The ancient checkpoint of Hakone Tokaido is located on the shores of Lake Ashi in Japan. The checkpoint was used during the Edo period to control the flow of people and goods along the Hakone Tokaido route.

The boat ride operates from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, and the cable car operates from 9:10 am to 4:55 pm. The Hakone Shrine is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
